John came to us only a year ago, a teenager with hopes and dreams, just like the rest of us.

John was, and still is, a fast learner. He’s extremely eloquent and personable, with a passion for the outdoors coupled with the strength of a small army.

So here at Severn Plus, we tailored his education towards an outdoor career in estate maintenance, which included tree surgery, dry-stone walling and land management.

John was put through the most rigorous, practical and theory based qualifications.

He now spends time working with professionals, out on the job, learning his trade and honing his skills. John surprised us, surpassing all our expectations and now heads up his own company
